jason & felicity // littleton, colorado
I'm fresh off off the plane from my honeymoon, and I'm just not ready to let go of the whirlwind of romance and love that has followed me for the last two weeks. Just re-read that-- oh so sappy! So, instead of packing and cleaning and getting ready to move into my -- excuse me, OUR new place -- I thought I'd hold on to wedding bliss just a little longer by posting this beautiful, love-filled wedding at the Terrace Gardens in Littleton, CO. You all met Jason & Felicity a little while ago when I posted their engagement photos.I know Felicity through my mom, who has worked with her at the Parker Hospital pharmacy for several years. My mama just adores Felicity. For five years now, I've heard about Filly's kindness (my mom calls her Filly), her work ethic, her intelligence, her generous nature and how you can't help but love her when you meet her. I have no doubt my mom would claim her as her own in a second. When I finally met Felicity a couple years ago, the truth of my mother's words really hit me. My Southern mother exaggerated not a single word of her affections. Felicity, I think you are an incredible woman. I know I can speak for both my mama and myself, when I say you are one of the most gentle, caring persons we have ever met, and you deserve the absolute best life has to offer. And with Jason, I really believe you're receiving that. The way that man loves you -- really, the way you love each other -- is dumbfounding, it's just remarkable. I really believe when you marry, you promise to love the other person more than you love yourself -- you promise to put your spouse's dreams above your own. You two have done that so well. So, so well. You both have such beautiful stories of pursuing and achieving your dreams. I know I haven't known you, Filly, as long as my mother has, but please know, I'm just floored by you and your husband's ambition and work ethic. You are going to be an amazing -- not to mention gorgeous -- pharmacist, and Jason, you're going to be one incredible police officer. Cheers to being the rare people who living actually live out your dreams and to your beautiful, selfless marriage. A special thanks to Elizabeth Fehringer of Images by Elizabeth for her brilliant second shooting! Those eyes. Oh my word, those beautiful tiger eyes. This photo (above) rocks my world. What a classic beauty.
