Grand Lake
He asked, and I said yes. Well, technically, I first said, "Are you serious?" When he plopped his knee down in the foot-deep snow and pulled out a ring, I realized he wasn't kidding... So I said yes. And then I jumped up and down, and we leaped off giant rock and shouted it from the mountain top (literally). These are the photographs from the best day of my life. The day I realized what absolute joy feels like. The day I realized I will be marrying my best friend, the kindest + most generous man on this planet, the one person who can make me laugh until my sides feel like they're going to explode. On this day, it all felt so real. It felt grounded. And it felt so beautiful. The view from the proposal. My new favorite picture ^As we started to leave Grand Lake, a flock of ducks flew above us. Believe it or not, the above picture was only edited slightly for exposure. Thank you Joe's Truck for the beautiful blue color your windshield produces. Cars driving behind us as we left the mountains...Can you find the buffalo in the above photo?Thank you to everyone who responded with so much love and support. Who knew Facebook could feel so good?
