Ashleigh & Kyle // Zoe's Cafe // Greeley Wedding Photography
I'm a crybaby.Every single time I sat down to edit these, I cried. Every. Single. Time.Every time I think about Ashleigh & Kyle, I just want to soak in the feeling of their wedding. I can't even describe it fully -- so don't count on my words -- but it was flooded with warmth and laughter and smoothies and pretty pearls and purple flowers and Kyle's beautiful wedding song to his bride. It was full of Coloradoan & Southern family and railroad tracks and Kyle's tears as he watched Ashleigh walk toward him. It was saturated with kind words and gripping speeches. It was a day of arm-pumping celebration. It was Kyle, dancing sweetly with his mother. So sweetly. It was Ashleigh, clutching her father, then clasping her arms around her new husband. Keeping him close. It was a day of blue trains, lace & violet. I wish I could keep the sentiment of their wedding in my heart every day.At one point, Ashleigh's roommate stood to give them a speech, and she gave me an image of Kyle & Ashleigh I'll never forget. She said one evening when came out of her room, she watched the two of them dancing around their living room, singing and playing music-- fully worshiping the Lord. Again, I can't perfectly describe the feeling I had when I heard that story, but I know it lines up exactly with the feeling I have of their wedding. Singing. Dancing. Worship.Ashleigh & Kyle, I want to thank you both, and I hope your wedding sets the precedent for the rest of your marriage- I hope that you can find a way, every day, to "sing and make music from your heart to the Lord."
