Jordan & Beth // Denver, Colorado

Some wedding photographers are super lucky when they meet a couple they really click with, and when throughout the engagement process, a really solid friendship is formed. It's even more CRAZY AWESOME AMAZING when you get to spend the WHOLE time ALREADY having fun with two really cool friends. I met this duo because Jordan and my husband shared a room their freshman year of college with our little albino hamster named Ishmael. Thankfully, Jordan loved Ishmael just as much as we did, and the three of us spent quite a lot of time hanging out at the Williams Village dorm (anyone else remember the smell of those elevators?) Looking back throughout the six years I've known Jordan, what hits me most about my memories is the feeling of gratefulness I had every time I saw Jordan at one of Joe's shows. It made me realize very early on that Jordan is a man of character -- a man filled with kindness, loyalty and intelligence. I know I can speak for both Joe and myself when I say we are so excited that Jordan's dreams are coming true... a Navy pilot... I mean, come on, how awesome is that? And if you think Jordan is a pretty cool chap, you need to meet his other half. And she really is his other half. Brown-eyed Beth (from the countless doe-eyed photos I've taken of her, I am insanely jealous of her beautiful brown eyes) and I met early on in college, and I have to say Beth is one of the most honest, creative, genuine ladies I've met. When you talk to her, she really makes you feel like she knows you. Deep down, that is. Once you have some deep talks with Mrs. Beth Riggs, she will make you feel known. And that's all we really want in life, right? To feel known, to feel loved? Thank you for that, Beth. I have to say, though, do you know what I most like about this astronomer (besides the fact that she studies the stars... pretty romantic, eh) ? She is a woman of character -- a woman filled with kindness, loyalty, and intelligence. Sound familiar? These two are honestly - without any doubts -- made for each other. And, they can put up with me as a friend, which means they are pretty much SAINTS.I can't wait to see the lines these two draw in the sky.  (A HUGE thank you to Whitney Buckner for helping me shoot this!!
