During her third month of life, Sophie continued to delight us with her laid-back, fun-loving, personality. She started giving us 6+ hours of sleep at seven weeks (just for posting that, I know our next child will be a complete insomniac devil-hoodlum), and I think the sleep has made all of us happier, healthier, and sweeter.Favorite books: Fox in Socks, The Littlest Dragon, and No Matter What Favorite songs: The Space Jam theme song,  "Shake it Off" by Taylor Swift, "Can't Stop the Feeling" by JT,  and "Rockin' Robin" by Bobby DayFavorite activities: Sophie loves dancing (aka being naked, flailing her chubby arms, and karate-kicking her thunder thighs) to music on her changing table, straining her tiny neck muscles to catch a glimpse (please, just a GLIMPSE!) of the CEILING FAN, smiling when mom makes all the funny, weirdo faces and noises, and of course, gazing lovingly at her blue monkey boyfriend on her playmat. Still. Seriously, weeks and weeks of love for this tiny blue primate.Favorite things: CELING FANS, crinkly books, plush giraffe rattle, plastic giraffe rattle, Sophie the giraffe (why is this toy so beloved?! It has the creepiest black eyes, but she loves her. Also, giraffes are a theme for this month much to my dismay since I once had a nightmare about a giraffe, and since then, they creep me out),Least favorite things + activities: Sophie has finally figured out that the Nose Frida = the devil.New Nicknames: Stink Weasel, Little PterodactylFirsts: Opening hands, reaching out and grabbing toys (her first toy to grab was her Green Bay Packers rattle much to the delight of her Papa), turning her head toward Mommy and Daddy's voices (swwoooooon).A few favorite photos: P.S.
