During her first few weeks of her life, these were her favorites things as well as a handful of my favorite photos:Favorite books: Brown Bear, Brown Bear by Eric Caryle,  Look Look by Peter Linethal, If I Were a Puppy by Anne Wilkinson, and Night Animals by Gianna MarinoFavorite songs: "Love Me Do" by the Beatles, "Deeper Than the Holler" by Randy Travis,  "Skiddamarink" by Feist and Piantodosi, "Hopelessly Devoted to You" by Olivia Newton John and Disney songs with made-up lyrics because her dad and I couldn't remember the original ones. Her absolute favorite (of course) was the one her daddy wrote about her called "Always Be." You can listen to it here.Favorite activities: Sleeping on mommy and daddy's chests, looking at the creepy pictures in her black and white books, pooping immediately after her diaper was removed, spraying her pee as if she were a tiny human fountain, listening to her dad play guitar in her mom's arms, splaying her fingers wide whenever she felt startled.Favorite things: Dad's beard, the spinny ladybug on her mirror, the blue horse in Brown Bear, the blue monkey hanging above her playmat (aka her first boyfriend because she loved him more than both her parents and pretty much anyone else she has ever met in her short life).Least favorite things + activities: Being cold, being clothed (oh the irony!), the many times I tried to wake her up to nurse in the middle of the night, whenever anyone tries to trap her arms down, mom's right boob.Nicknames: Littles, Cheese Muffin, Sweetums McGee, Cross-eyed McGee, SkidamarinkFirsts: She first smiled at her dad at four weeks/three days when his beard tickled her.
