kat & joe // colorado wedding photography

The First Look. To see or not to see, that is the question. Personally, I think there are wonderful aspects to a first look, but there is also something very special about the tradition of seeing the look in the groom's face as his bride walks toward him down the aisle. This summer, I helped Amy Michelle Photography shoot Kat and Joe's wedding, and I really can't help but post their first look. The raw emotion in their faces continues to evoke my own sentimentality. I hope you can see why I couldn't remove any one picture from the series. Each one offers a different subtle piece of their moment in love. I don't know about you, but for me, these pictures poke my shoulder and seem to ask, "Now do you believe in love at first sight?" You know, for being the, emotional, teary/ starry eyed romantic that I am, I really don't know if I truly believe in love at first sight. But I believe for Kat and Joe, at this first sight, they fell in love. Again.Again, a big thank you to Amy of Amy Michelle Photography for taking me under her wing and allowing me to take part in these wonderful moments.
