Brad & Kelsey // Arvada, Colorado

Buckle in, this wedding is going to shake your soul a little. It did mine. I'm serious, though, editing this wedding knocked me upside down in the best sense. Their first look, their gorgeous venue, their portraits, their football playing bridal party, the twinkle lights, the mountain views... I found myself literally shaking my head in wonder at the beauty of Brad and Kelsey's wedding at Ralston's Crossing in Arvada. I loved watching Kelsey's bridesmaids tell her over and over she could be literally be a Vogue bride. I loved Brad's groomsmen showing off their cufflinks with the logo to their favorite sports team. I loved the abundance of succulents and greenery. I loved the sweet moment when Lauren, Kelsey's sister, fastened Kelsey's jewelry. I loved the passion of the newlywed's first kiss, and the sweetness of their first dance. I have to say, though, my favorite part of the whole day was hearing Kelsey's interview for their wedding video. Choking up a little, she told her videographer she could still remember the very second she saw Brad for the first time. In that moment, she instantly knew he was the one for her. By the way she looks at Brad, I wholeheartedly believe that. And that way he looks at her... I can't even describe it. The word "adoration" comes pretty close.Congratulations on a beautiful wedding, Brad and Kelsey, and an even more beautiful love. I am so happy for the two of you, and I feel so blessed to have been a part of your gorgeous day.P.S. My second favorite part of the day was taking the ring shot on the top of Kelsey's dog's nose. She trained him to wait when she places a treat atop his snout, and when she gives the signal, he flings it into the air and catches it in his mouth. When Kelsey set the rings on his nose, he did the same motion and almost ate them!A huge thank you to the wonderful Jenny Hanlon for shooting this with me!
